1-Year Target

By RISE Business Framework · Created by Gary Harper and Brandon McCurdy · Reviewed

A one-year target is the goal your business commits to reaching in the next twelve months. It keeps the team motivated and on track. RISE uses the same header as the 3-Year Projection. It then asks for four annual commitments in each quadrant: Resources, Inspiration, Systems and Engagement.

How RISE does it

  • Make it achievable yet ambitious.
  • Fill in date, revenue, gross profit, net profit and deliverables.
  • Write four annual commitments for each RISE quadrant, 16 in total.
  • Break the larger goal into milestones and prioritize by importance or difficulty.

1-Year Target is one of four tools in Short-Term Vision, part of the Inspiration quadrant of the RISE Business Framework.
