Identify Personal Purpose
By RISE Business Framework · Created by Gary Harper and Brandon McCurdy · Reviewed
A personal purpose is the reason behind what you do each day. It gives direction and an anchor when times are tough. RISE uses three prompts: what you love, your gift to the world and what you want to be remembered for. You then write one personal purpose statement.
How RISE does it
- Personal purpose can be based on your core values, beliefs and motivations.
- It helps you prioritize what truly matters to you.
- The template uses three columns: past, present and future.
- The same triad is later used for the company purpose statement.
Identify Personal Purpose is one of four tools in Long-Term Vision, part of the Inspiration quadrant of the RISE Business Framework.
