Policy Timelines
By RISE Business Framework · Created by Gary Harper and Brandon McCurdy · Reviewed
A policy timeline pairs a policy, which frames decisions, with a timeline that directs action. Together they show people what is expected and how to manage their time. RISE uses a simple worksheet: define High, Medium and Low priority, then set a target for each. Monitor and update it regularly.
How RISE does it
- Policies frame decisions. Timelines give direction to action.
- Three priority levels: High, Medium and Low.
- Each level gets a definition and a target.
- Monitor, evaluate and update regularly to hold each person accountable.
Policy Timelines is one of four tools in Process Execution, part of the Systems quadrant of the RISE Business Framework.
