Goal Affirmation

By RISE Business Framework · Created by Gary Harper and Brandon McCurdy · Reviewed

Goal affirmation is setting one revenue goal tied to your purpose and confirming it is worth pursuing. RISE starts with the revenue goal needed to fulfill your purpose. You then test it with four questions. Is it big enough? Is it a catalyst for change? Does it inspire you? Is it uniting?

How RISE does it

  • Write the dollar amount: revenue goals to fulfill our purpose.
  • Treat it as a stretch goal that pushes the organization beyond comfort zones.
  • Test it against the four Goal Affirmation questions.
  • Revisit it so it stays significant, inspiring and unifying.

Goal Affirmation is one of four tools in Culture, part of the Inspiration quadrant of the RISE Business Framework.
