Brand Guide

By RISE Business Framework · Created by Gary Harper and Brandon McCurdy · Reviewed

A brand guide is a reference document that shows how your brand should look and sound. It covers mission, values, tone of voice, visuals and messaging. In RISE, a one-page template captures your Brand Script, company history, three brand colors, two typefaces and three logo usages.

How RISE does it

  • Outlines mission, values, tone of voice, visuals and messaging.
  • Gives clear direction to internal teams and outside partners like ad agencies and web developers.
  • Shows approved fonts, colors, logos and messaging to keep the brand consistent.
  • The Brand Script can follow the StoryBrand approach, which positions your brand as the guide to the customer as hero.

Brand Guide is one of four tools in Branding, part of the Engagement quadrant of the RISE Business Framework.
