The Engagement Quadrant

By RISE Business Framework · Created by Gary Harper and Brandon McCurdy · Reviewed

Engagement is the fourth quadrant of the RISE Business Framework. It expands the business through branding, marketing, advertising and sales, using profits earned in the first three quadrants. RISE says a business earns the right to engage by scoring 10 or more in Resources, Inspiration and Systems first.

Engagement is where growth gets deliberate. A clear brand, consistent messaging, measured advertising and a repeatable sales process turn attention into customers.

RISE puts Engagement last on purpose. Pushing for more customers before roles, purpose and systems are in place can overwhelm your resources and break your systems.

“Some businesses should stay in the systems quadrant, others can move into engagement. For engagement we must be willing to leverage the profits we made in the previous quadrants and invest it in brand, talent succession planning, and automations.”The RISE Business Lifecycle
