Why Forgotten at Christmas?

Many of the children we serve live with significant disabilities and have been placed in long-term state care. Some have family who visit. But many do not. Christmas can feel like any other day in a facility: no stockings, no tree at home, and often not even the basic items they need.

Forgotten at Christmas exists to shine a light on these children and remind them they are seen, valued, and loved.

This year we are delivering Christmas Care Bags to children at the Children’s Habilitation Center in Harvey, IL.
